Funeral service for Jerry Bennich, 79, will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Michael Gunter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Bennich died Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born January 4, 1934, in Morgan County to the late Edward W. Bennich and Clara Harvel Bennich. He was formerly employed by NASA as a mechanical designer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Lee Harris Bennich.
Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Bennich, Hartselle; one brother, Ed Bennich (Ruby), Huntsville; one sister, Dorothy Pack (James), Michigan; sister-in-law, Wilda Harris Johnson, Hartselle; six nieces; and five nephews.
