She was born on August 25, 1945 in Rolla, Missouri and resided most of her life in Anderson.
Sharon graduated from Anderson High School in the class of '63 and later attended Ball State University. She retired from Delco Remy after 30 years of service. Sharon was most proud of her position as Trustee for Local 662; was active in the Retiree Chapter of UAW Local 662 and Region 3 as recording secretary; she was a mentor and advocate for several organizations helping to lead people to better lives.
Sharon is survived by her loving daughters, Alisha N. (James E.) Pierce of Anderson and Manda A. (Vicki L. Adams) Hiday of Anderson; grandsons, Elijah J. Pierce and Kenton K. Pierce; companion, David Beabout of Muncie; several cousins; and special life-long friends, Elaine Wall and Ginger Bondurant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie F. and James M. Ring.
