Born July 14, 1880, in Dundee, Scotland, Mr. Honeyman came to Portland with his parents when 2 years old. When 15, he retired to Scotland to attend Madras college in St. Andrews, and on completion of his schooling, went into business with his father in the firm of Honeyman, McBride, wholesale dealers in wools and twines, in Portland.
In 1908 he married Carlotta Parker, who survives him. The couple went to a cattle ranch near Ilwaco, Wash., which he operated until his retirement to Gearhart several years ago.
Other survivors are two daughters: Mrs. Barbara Hirsch, New York; Mrs. Robert Peyton Sibley, Glendora, Cal.; two sons, Charles Parker Honeyman, Boston, and Arthur Alan Honeyman, Portland; a sister, Mrs. Frederick A. Barker, Brentwood, Cal., and seven grandchildren.
