Jane Bebb

Jane Bebb, 78, of Mishawaka, Inc., died Nov. 9 in Mishawaka of a stroke.

She was born n Nevada to John C. and Marguerite (Statler) Bebb. She graduated from Iowa State University in 1936 and received a master's degree from Northwestern University in 1949. She moved to Mishawaka, Inc., in 1944 and was principle of Twin Branch Elementary School in Indiana, 1957-59. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority; Pi Lamda Theta Society; Director of the Parenthood Free Nation program; chairman for the Governors Youth County of St. Joseph County; State Teachers Association; Mishawaka Education Society; and the Library Board and Art Center Board in Mishawaka.

Survivors include cousins Miriam Gamcle of Washington, Ill., Gary Gamble of Morton, Ill, Dorina Marshall of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Wayne Bebb of Diamond, Ohio.

Graveside services were held Nov. 14 at Nevada Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Mish-Penn Public Library or First Presbyterian Church of Mishawaka, Ind. Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home of Nevada was in charge of arrangements
