Mrs. Perry, 74, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Friday, December 6, 2013 in her residence with her loving family by her side.
Betty was a longtime member of Oakdale United Pentecostal Church and The Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church where she loved teaching Sunday School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earlie and Lola Brown and four brothers.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons - Marvin Corb Perry of Alexandria, Tim Perry of Lake Charles and Titus Glenn Perry and his wife, Bobbi of Canby, Minnesota; two daughters - Melonie Skoug and her husband, Joel of Oakdale and Melinda Kiser and her husband, Mike Of Newkirk, Oklahoma; four brothers - David Brown of Oakdale, Keith Brown of Oakdale, Ronnie Brown of Jasper, Texas and Bobby Brown of Mamou and two sisters - Glenda Chapman of Denham Springs and Patricia Johnson of Lafayette. She is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and on Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and at The Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at 3:00 p.m.
