Mr. Charles Ballard, 81 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed Friday, December 06, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Bro. Billy Clark will officiate the service. The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Mr. Ballard was born May 30, 1932 to the late Sidney lee and Fannie Bell (McClure) Ballard. He was a member of the Westport Church of Christ, retired car salesman for Yarbrough Car Lot and also work for the Forestry. He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Houston Ballard and Ricky Neil Ballard, four brothers, Hobart Ballard, Otis Ballard, Ray Ballard, and Glen Ballard. He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Mona Ballard, a daughter-in-law, Teresa Ballard of Lexington. He also leaves two grandchildren, Kaley Hopper (wife Heather), Hunter Ballard, two great-grandchildren, Presley Hopper and Brooklyn Hopper.
