Funeral services for Jack Livermont, 67, a pioneer resident of Dewey County were conducted in Holy Cross of TL April 17 with Fr. T Gorman officiating. A rosary was held at the Cudmore ranch.

Interment is in Holy Cross cemetery. Pallbearers: Philip Traversie, Jim O'Leary, Ben O'Leary, Adam Hulm, Glen French and Clarence Austin. Kesling in charge of arrangements.
Peter Alferd (Jack) Livermont was born Apr 4, 1890, at Fort Pierre, a son of Henry and Millie Arpan Livermont. He made his home in Dewey County since 1909 engaged in ranch work. He had been in failing health the past 3 years and spent the last few months at Good Samaritan in Aberdeen. He suffered a stroke before passing Apr 13 at St Luke's in Aberdeen.

Mr. Livermont was never married. He was much loved by his nieces and nephews, the Cudmore children. He is survived by two sisters: Mrs. Fred Cudmore of TL; Mrs. Sidney LeBeau of Cheyenne Agency; brother: Charles; several nieces and nephews.
