Ruthetta N. Smith, of Hanover, entered into God's eternal care December 7, 2013, in Gettysburg.

Born July 15, 1916, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Besie (Baumgardner) Null. Ruthetta was the loving wife of the late Wilbur F. Smith who died in June of 1986.

She retired in 1980 from the former H.O. Tour Shoe Company with over 30 years of service. Ruthetta was a member of St. Bartholomew's United Church, ELCA.

Ruthetta is survived by one brother, John Null of Hanover; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters; Grace Neiderer, Janet DiSanto, Pauline Noel, and Velma Frock, and three brothers; Gereon Null, Robert Null, and Russell Null.

A graveside service to celebrate and remember Ruthetta's life will be held 11 a.m. December 13, 2013, at Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, with her Pastor the Rev. Steven E. Thomas officiating.
