Age 58, of Birmingham, passed away Tues. Dec. 10th. She was a member of Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church, Ensley. A member of the Stewardess Board, Class leader of the Gospel Choir, Graduate of Miles College and Alabama State University. Retired Teacher, Birmingham Public School System (West End High School).
Survivors are her daughter, Sadiqua (Kenneth) Davis; sisters, Cynthia Cargill, Brenda Jordan (Derron), Aphina Lawrence, Pamela Williams, Valanie Barcy (Dexter) and Wanda Thomas (Belmont); brother, Nathaniel Young (LaTonya); grandchildren, (twins) Kaden and Kameron Davis; special cousin, Alfonso Smith, Jr.
Funeral services Sat. Dec. 14th at 11:00 AM from the church, 1800 - Ensley Avenue. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Viewing Friday 1-7 PM.
