He was formerly employed by Weirton Steel Corp., an employee of Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, and a Marine veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Mary L. Henderson Wright; a brother; two sisters.
Surviving are a son, Vinton D. "Vinnie" of Pittsburgh; a daughter, ViRene Wright Mahi of Corapolis, PA; a brother, Bill of Pine Grove; seven sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Tish) Baxter and Mrs. Donald (Marietta) Garbesi, both of Clearwater, FL, Mrs. Les (Vie) Shuman and Mrs. Warren (Bonnie) Waller both of Wellsburg; Mrs. Robert (Liz) Stipes of Cumberland, MD, Mrs. Bill (Dell) Leggitt of Clarksburg and Mrs. Dick (Nell) Palmer of Pine Grove; two grandchildren.
Friends were received at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove where services were held.
Interment in Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Pine Grove, Wetzel County, WV.
