FRANK HALUCZIK
January 31, 1925 - April 19, 2008
A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank Haluczik, 83, of Newark will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, April 23, 2008, with Rev. Timothy Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Mr. Haluczik, a lifelong parishioner of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, died at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio on Saturday, April 19, 2008. He was born in Newark, Ohio on January 31, 1925, to the late George and Mary (Harasewicz) Haluczik.
Frank was a graduate of Newark High School and worked as a bus driver for the Licking Valley School District for over 25 years.
Frank was an avid and dedicated Newark Catholic fan. For many years Frank handmade all of the trophies that were given to each athlete at the Newark Catholic Athletic Association Sports Banquets. Over the years, Frank has made thousands of trophies for the Newark Catholic athletes.
Frank is survived by his brother, John Haluczik of Newark, his sisters, Sophie Simco of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Jenny Haluczik of Toledo; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul and Mike Haluczik; and his sisters, Pauline Conners and Kathleen Sayatovich.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M., Tueasday, April 22, 2008 at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 P.M.
