She was born December 28, 1919, in Conewago Township, a daughter of the late Harry and Catherine (Hughes) Lemkelde.
Ada was a homemaker and member of Mount Royal Full Gospel Church. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra L. Franklin and husband Gerald, and Joyce A. Anderson, all of Dover; a son, Luther E. Drawbaugh and wife Freda of Wellsboro; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; a great-great-great-grandson; three sisters, Elsie Delp of York, Grace Laird of Wellsville, and Annetta Newgard of Dillsburg; and a brother, Lauren Lemkelde of Dover. Ada was preceded in death by a daughter, Marion Crisamore; a grandson; a great-granddaughter; six brothers; and three sisters.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ada's funeral at 10:30 a.m. and the viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013, at Mount Royal Full Gospel Church, 6420 Carlisle Road, Dover. Burial will follow in St. John's Reformed Cemetery in Dover. Officiating will be her pastor, Mary Lou Dietz.
