Mrs. R.N. White, 85, prominent Greenville woman and the widow of the late R.N. White, pioneer businessman, died at 3:45 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the family home, 1709 Wesley Street, where she had resided for the past 63 years.

Funeral services are pending. The James-Coker-Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Alice Coulson White was born in Aberdeen, Miss., on January 29, 1866. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.A. Coulson, who brought her to Texas early in life. She was married to Mr. White at Corsicana on November 16, 1887.

Mrs. White was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. F.C. Cameron of this city and Mrs. M.M. Brooks of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. J.M. Carsey and R.L. Overstreet of this city; and six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her husband died on October 5, 1939, and two sons, Robert and Leland, also preceded her in death.

Final rites will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the James-Coker-Peters Chapel for Mrs. R.N. White, 85, prominent Greenville woman who died Wednesday afternoon at her home, 1709 Wesley St.

Rev. L.D. Ball, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will conduct the services. Burial is to be in Forest Park.

Pallbearers will be: Eben Carsey, Clint McWhirter, Jack LaRoe, Tilford Collins, John Dale Carsey and Bob Carsey.
