Mrs. John Milton (Mary Ann) Carsey who was 105 years old on Nov. 8 died at her home at 2923 Bourland about 9 p.m. Friday following an illness of a few days.

Mrs. Carsey had lived in Greenville since 1889 when she and her husband came to Greenville by boat from Corsicana right after their marriage. The couple celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary on Nov. 8, 1962 just a short time before he died on March 29, 1963 at the age of 97.

Mrs. Carsey's funeral will be at 2 p.m. today in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Chapel with Rev. James McGinlay officating. Buril will be in East Mount Cemetery and Great-grandson of the deceased will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Carsey was born on Nov. 8, 1969 in Hodgensville, Ky. to Rev. & Mrs. Green Avery Coulson.

Surviving are two sons, Eben Carsey of Greenville and Robert Carsey of Houston; three daughters, Mrs. Tilford Collins and Mrs. Lester Totsch, both of Greenville, and Mrs. Jack LaRoe of McKinney; 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Carsey was preceded in deaty by two daughter and three sons.
