Rev. M. M. Bond officiated at the rites for Mrs. Alvin Lange, 76, which were held Sunday afternoon in St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Interment was in the Garden of Memories, under the direction of Plummer-Fair.
Her death occurred last Friday morning at Town House, where she had been a resident for about a month. She had been in failing health for more than a year. A native of Galveston, she was the former Lucille White.
She and her late husband moved to Kerrville about 24 years ago and following his passing, she continued to make her home here. She was a member of St. Peter's Church and active in many civic and social affairs of the community. Her home was on Manor Dr.
She is survived by a number of cousins, among whom are Mrs. Jim White and Guy Cade Jackson of this city.
Pallbearers were Col. Fred Johnson, R. W. Brunson, G. D. Reading, Henry Wied, Sully Woodland and Harold Bernhard.
