Died at 7:30 p.m., Thursday at Pointe Coupee General Hospital in New Roads. She was 65, a native of East Baton Rouge Parish and a resident of Erwinville. Body at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 10:15 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at the Sharon Baptist Church, Erwinville, at 11 a.m. Saturday conducted by the Rev. J. C. Mayo Sr. Burial in the church cemetery.

Survived by her husband, Noah LeJeune; a son, John LeJeune, Erwinville; two daughters, Mrs. John (Annie) Francois, Port Allen, and Mrs. Floyd (Mae Alice) Carber, Central; two sisters, Mrs. Raph Parker, Watson, and Mrs. Claude Peak, Walker; two brothers, Harry Swearingen, Pride, and R. M. Swearingen, Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a number of nieces and nephews, and an aunt, Mrs. Pearl Ott, Watson.

She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
