Died at 11:15 a.m. Friday, July 6, 1979, at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. He was 80, a resident of Section Road, Port Allen, and a native of West Baton Rouge Parish. He was a retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Highways. Body at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, with visiting from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at Sharon Baptist Church, Erwinville, at 3 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Allen Stephens. Burial in the church cemetery.

Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Annie) Francois, Port Allen and Mrs. Floyd (Mary Alice) Carber, Central; a son, John LeJeune, Erwinville; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
