Mrs. Anna B. Fisher passed away at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge on Thursday, Oct. 4, 1979 following a short illness at the age of 91 years, 6 months and 15 days. Anna Fisher was born March 20, 1888 in Troy Township to George and Iowa Newcomb. She was united in marriage on December 25, 1907 to Raymond Fisher. They farmed in Troy Township until moving to town in 1943.

There were two children born to this union, Marvin Fisher of Eagle Grove, and Mrs. Arthur Nelson (Helen) of Hardy. Anna was a resident of Eagle Grove Rotary Ann Home since 1975. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and honorary member of Rebecca Circle.

Those who mourn her departure are her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Nelson of Hardy, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Raymond, son—Marvin and an infant grandson, Kenneth, and one sister, and two brothers.
