Olive is my Grandmother, or "Mamma," as I called her. She was a wonderful lady. She was a wonderful cook and loved to fish. Some of the everyday things that remind me of her: Soft Batch Cookies, The Dukes of Hazzard, Christy Lane, Barbara Mandrell, DALLAS, Pringles, and Lillies of the Valley.

She was an Inspector at Ex-Cello Corporation in Elwood, Indiana, for over 20 years, retiring in 1975.

She married Basil Henry "Pete" Rogers on September 26, 1942. They had one son, Terry Kent Rogers.

Pete passed away in November 1978. Olive married again in February 1988 to Floyd "Bo" Knick.
