Fletcher, Harvey 91, of San Antonio passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. He was born on November 22, 1922, and grew up in Kirkwood, Missouri. As a patriot, he distinguished himself many times in combat during WWII in Europe as an infantry leader, both as an enlisted soldier and a Captain. He was decorated with a Silver Star, Bronze Star, and two Purple Hearts for his leadership, gallantry and valor. He married Frances Schultz in May of 1947, and together they had three children. Harvey is survived by Frances Fletcher, his three children Lynda Boeselt (wife of Bernard), Kenneth Fletcher (husband of Lori), and Donald Fletcher (husband of Courtney), seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services: Harvey's body has been donated to the University of Texas Health and Science Center in San Antonio. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
