Isabel Henshaw was a nursing sister with Red Cross, one of the few Canadian women who died while serving at the front during WW I.

Daughter of Robert Henshaw (Royal Engineer) and Mary Ann Henshaw of Trowbridge, England

Isabel died of sickness on at the General Winnipeg hospital.

Obituary in the Manitoba Free Press (Winnipeg, MB), 12 Aug 1919 p 11:
Henshaw – in Winnipeg on August 11th Isabella Henshaw (Red Cross Nurse) of 350 Home St. The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Clark Leatherdale's parlors, 232 Kennedy St. to Elmwood cemetery.
