- Death of Mrs. Braxton. -
Mrs. Olivia J. Braxton, widow of John S. Braxton, died at Oak Grove, the home of her son-in-law, Mr. S.S. Bradford, in Spotsylvania, early Tuesday morning.
Funeral Services were held at St. George's Church Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock. The pall hearers were Messrs. A.D. Tapscott, J. Arthur Taylor, J.S. Knox, W.H. Hurkamp, H.B. Lane and H.H. Wallace. (Fredericksburg) The Free Lance - July 22, 1897.
