Harbor Beach - James G. Price, 83, died early today in Huron Community Health Center.
He was born March 2, 1883 at Sturgeon, Ky., and for many years operated a store at Beattysville, Ky.
He was married Oct. 23, 1945, at Lexington, Ky., to Olive Rawson, formerly of Harbor Beach.
He came to Harbor Beach two and half years ago when he sold his business.
Surviving are his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Rena Pierman, Mrs. Beatrice Lawless and Mrs. Doreen Hoppe, all of Cleveland, two sons, Augustus, Cleveland, and Tyler, Whittier, Calif., three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Lucas, Dayton, O., Mrs. Millie Eckman and Mrs. Prescova Hogg, both of Cleveland; two brothers, Finley Price, Littleton, N.C., and Clayton Price, Levi, Ky., 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild; a stepdaughter, Doris Bookner, Frankfort, Ky., and two stepsons, Eugene Bookner and Richard Bookner, both of Cleveland.
Memorial services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Ramsey Funeral Home in Harbor Beach by Elder John Rogers, Port Hope. The remains will then be removed to the Neuman Funeral Home at Beattyville for funeral services and burial Saturday.
