Daniel Vance, age 62, of Fayetteville, TN passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Bristol, TN on March 30, 1951 to the late Hugh David & Lucille Rouse Vance. He was a machine operator and a member of Fayetteville First Church of the Nazarene. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Don Vance, Sr., Jerry Vance and Ralph Vance. Mr. Vance is survived by his wife, Gena Vance of Fayetteville, TN; step-daughter, Elizabeth Anderson of Lynchburg, TN; step-son, David Anderson of Portland, OR; sisters, Elizabeth Patrick, Peggy & Dallas Grubb, Betty & Frank Arnold all of Bristol, TN; brothers, Ray & Jean Vance of Taft, TN, Douglas & Alma Vance, Walter & Becky Vance, Jackie & Kathy Vance, Phillip & Cathie Vance, Stanley & Pam Vance, all of Bristol, TN; and step-grandchildren, Ian Irion, Jessica Batchelor, William Batchelor. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Bolin and Pastor Justin Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Blanche Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service.
