Douglas H. Tejkl, age 52 of Owosso passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at his home.
Funeral services will be held on Tueaday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso with Pastor Chris Higgins officiating. Family will greet friends on Sunday 2-4 P.M. and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Burial will take place in West Haven Cemetery, Henderson.
Doug was born on August 26, 1961 in Durand, the son of Harold Losey and Lois E. Swan. He attended Corunna High School and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, MI. He has worked for Regal Plastics, Magna Atreum in Howell from 1995 - 2010 and Colonels/ Rugged Liner. He was a member of the National Guard for 18 years and was a member of the Owosso VFW and the First Church of Christ. He was a great sports fan of all the Michigan teams and the San Francisco 49ers.
Doug is survived by three daughters; Jessica(Michael) Siminski of Owosso, Melissa Tejkl of Corunna and Erica Tejkl of Owosso, one grandson; Elijah Michael Siminski, brothers; Thomas Tejkl, John Tejkl, Larry(Linda) Losey, Gary (Karen)Losey and Mike Losey, nieces; Kristine, Cheryl, Julie, Kim, Stacey, Charity and Myla, nephews; Tommy, Brandon and Chad, mothers of his girls Yvonne Tejkl and Judy Kellogg and friend Carol Knox.
