Age 92 and a lifelong resident of Albany, Matthew passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond. He was owner and operator of Albany Screen & Door Works and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Albany.
Matthew leaves behind his nieces and nephews, along with extended family members.
Preceding Matthew in death were his wife, Dorothy Merrill Kinchen; brothers, Ivy, N.R., and Clyde Kinchen; parents, W.D. and Lillie Hano Kinchen.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the religious service from Bethlehem Baptist Church in Albany on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Joe Dunn will officiate the services, assisted by Rev. Mike Burns and interment will follow in the church cemetery.
