THOMAS, SUE JOSEPHINE GRANT, 73, Wartburg, born Dec. 15, 1929, went home to be with her Lord on Jan. 23, 2003 in the Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom A. Thomas; son A.C. Thomas; parents William Johah (Bill) and Lizzie Arpt Grant; and brother Billy Grant. She is survived by daughters Wilma Jarnagin and Evelyn Thomas both of Wartburg, son Grant Douglas Thomas of Wartburg; brothers Buddy and Tommy, both of Rockwood, Carson of Kingston and Minuard of Oakdale; sisters, Betty Lawson and Alice Chapman of Rockwood and Wanda Adkins of Soddy Daisy; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Schubert Funeral Home Chapel, Wartburg with Rev. Dewey Wilson and Rev. Dennis Jarnagin officiating. Interment in Morgan Memorial Gardens, Wartburg.
