Former Resident Dies in East; to be Buried here: Mrs. Daisy Butler Hooey, 73, a former Rock county resident and a sister of Charles W. Butler, 120 Clark St., Janesville died Tuesday in Greenwich, Conn., where she has been living with her daughters for several years. The body will arrive in Janesville Friday morning and funeral services will be conducted at 3PM Friday in the Whaley-Overton funeral home. The Rev. H. C. Kimmel, Congregational Church, wil officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hooey, formerly Daisy Butler, was born Nov. 13, 1866, in Huntingon, Ind., and came to Janesville with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George M. Butler as a young girl. She resided with her family on South Main Street until her marriage to Edward Hooey. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Daley and Mrs. Elsie Wise, Old Greenwich, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. Iva B. Young, Oakland, Calif. and Mrs. Calla Conger, Milwaukee; and two brothers, George R. Butler, Alton, Ill., and Charles W. Butler, Janesville.
