LAMBERT, JOAN, lifetime resident of Pontiac, departed this life November 19, 2013 at 81 years of age, loving mother of Jo Ellen "Jody" (Jim) Brown; dearest grandmother of Heather (Alex Wells) Dalby. She is survived by her brothers, James (Judy) Dean and Lawrence (Sharon) Dean. Preceded in death of her brothers, Eugene (Eleanor) Dean, Ralph (Virginia) Dean, Les (Pat) Dean; her sisters Mary Ellen Lindgren, Sarah (Ralph) Smith, Thelma (Clairmond) Lawrence, Patricia (Harold) Clason, and sister-in-law Marietta Dean.
Joan retired from Michigan Bell Telephone after 30 plus years of service. She enjoyed her retiree groups, The Telephone Pioneers of America and RMC Local 4123; her card clubs, breakfast clubs, traveling and volunteering, but loved most of all, spending time with family and friends.
