Mrs Ada Buckler died in Windsor, where she had been spending the winter as usual with her daughter, Mrs Chas L Wood and family, on Sunday. The body was brought here yesterday by train. The funeral took place immediately at Woodlawn Cemetery, Reverend L Wright officiating. Mrs Buckler, who before her marriage was Miss Ada Craig, was born at Smith's Cove, Digby County, a daughter of the late Annie Florence Craig Whitman and John Craig. She was the widow of Milledge Clayton Buckler of Annapolis Royal, whose death occurred on October 15, 1903. She was in her 80th year. Mrs Buckler was a member of the Baptist Church. She leaves her twin sister, Mrs George Wells of Annapolis Royal, and 2 daughters: Mrs Charles Wood of Windsor and Marguerite, wife of RJ Rankin, editor of the Halifax Herald. A son, John Buckler was killed in action in July, 1916, while serving in France with the Royal Canadian Regiment.
