His brother, Carl (Connie) Brorson also survives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Karl Brorson and his mother, Mabel, nee Anderson, Brorson.
Donald was born on July 25, 1927 in San Diego, CA. He graduated with honors in Civil Engineering from the University of California Berkeley in 1950.
He married Lois Rae Magnuson on Dec. 16, 1955.
He and his family moved from San Diego to Hinsdale, IL in 1959, where he lived for almost 50 years.
He was an active member of the Hinsdale Evangelical Covenant Church and a member of the Hinsdale Golf Club.
Most recently he was a resident of the Johnson Care facility of Windsor Park Manor, Carol Stream, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations are being received by the Brain Research Foundation, 111 W. Washington St., Suite 1710, Chicago, IL 60602.
