Jewell Lockard, age 91, of Lawrenceville, GA formerly of Albany, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, two daughters, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, twin brother, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Daniel Lockard, parents, brothers and sisters.
Jewell was born in Jackson Kentucky to J.K and Elizabeth Shackelford. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lilburn, GA.
A Funeral Service to Honor and Celebrate the life of Jewell Lockard will be at 3:30 pm on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Interment will be on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Floral Memory Gardens, Albany, GA.
