Kathleen Zirkle Lincoln, 98, of Sebring, Fla., died Wednesday at Palms Health Care Center in Sebring

She is formerly of the Harrisonburg-Broadway area and has lived in Sebring since 1977.

She was born Dec 4, 1889, in New Market and was a daughter of the late Edgar Leigh and Laura Ellen Larrick Zirkle .

She retired from the Women's Division Department of Corrections for the District of Columbia in Lorton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sebring.

On Oct. 18, 1911, she married Ernest Erdine Lincoln Sr., who died earlier

Surviving are a son, Ernest E. Lincoln Jr of Occoquan, Va.; a daughter, Ellen L. Calton of Sebring, two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway by the Rev Jerry O'Hara. Burial will be in the Lacey Spring Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home

The body will arrive at the funeral home Monday afternoon.
