Dorothy L. McCamey, age 97, formerly of Millbury, OH passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Village, Pemberville, OH. She was born on September 4, 1916, in Toledo, OH to Alvin and Irene (Rideout) Crago. On October 21, 1939, she married Robert H. McCamey in Walbridge, OH and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2008. For 16 years Dorothy was a cafeteria worker and secretary for Lake Local Schools. Her memberships included: Lakewood Church of the Brethren and the church quilters. In her spare time she enjoyed wintering in Florida and camping in the summer with her husband, cooking, baking and doing crafts and crossword puzzles. Surviving Dorothy are her sons, Robert (Katheryn "Mickey") McCamey and Ronald (Trudi) McCamey both of Perrysburg, OH; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kelly) Grix of Rossford, Gary (Laura) McCamey of Las Vegas, NV, Dr. Kendra McCamey of Hilliard, OH, Kerri (Jeff) Clark of Miamisburg, OH; great-grandchildren, Allyssa, Matthew, Joshua, Nicole, Paige, Jenna, Kaylee, Kamryn and Brandon; sister, Donna (Joe) St. John of Camden, MI; brother-in-law, Chet Herrington of Pemberville, OH and, sister-in-law, Kathryn (Keith) Fleming of Luckey, OH. Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 10, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Lakewood Church of the Brethren, Millbury, OH. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Routh. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the memorial services. Interment will be private in Lake Twp. Cemetery, Walbridge, OH.
