CLEARFIELD PROGRESS JULY 28, 1969

NEW MILLPORT — Alexander W. Bloom, 90, of New Millport R D. died in the Clearfield Hospital at 12:15 p. m. yesterday.

Born at New Millport Dec. 5, 1878, a son of the late Daniel and Abigal (Bloom) Bloom.

He is survived by these children Mrs. Mae Tobias, Madera R. D.; George, Ypsilanti, Mich.; Mrs. Russell (Goldie) Brown, New Millport; Wilmer. Philipsburg; and Mrs. Clarence (Marie) McGarvey, Greenville.

Sixty-five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive along with the following brothers and sisters: Grovor, Calif.; Mrs. Julia Troxell, Ohio; Josh, Pittsburgh; Atley and Mrs. Rosic Howe, Olanta; and Leo, New York.

His wife, the former Catherine Kutruff, preceded him in death in June 1947. Three sons, Eloy, Paul and Joseph, also are deceased.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a. m. Wednesday in St. Lawrence Catho1ic Church at St. Lawrence. The Rev. Ralphael will the celebrant.

Interment will be in the St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Friends may call in the Wendoll W. Lloyd Funeral Home at Irvona from 7 to 10 p. m. today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.
