Mollie was the daughter of Solomon and Elizabeth (Fiveash) Reed. She married Lewis Boatright in 1870 and they had six chidren: Luella, Cordelia, John J., Robert Walter, Harry Hugh, and Elizabeth Madge.

MRS. BOATRIGHT DIES OF INJURIES.

Was injured a week ago while Enroute from Harrisburg to Indianapolis
At 4 p.m. Tuesday just one week from the day she was fatally hurt in an automobile accident, Mrs. Mollie Boatright of Harrisburg, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Gillespie, in Indianapolis, IN. The accident happened near Indianapolis.
She was enroute there with her son Walter Boatright, and his son Homer, of this city, In crossing traffic lanes another automobile from Newport, Kentucky, driving at a faster rate of speed, swung in front of the Boatright's car in such a way that they crashed.
Mrs. Boatright, occupying the back seat, was thrown against the front seat and crushed though the chest and abdomen. Homer and his father, who is a Carpenter and Contractor here, had slight injuries from which they have recovered.
Mrs. Boatright, who had been a widow for nineteen years, was the wife of Lewis Boatright. Since his death she has made her home with her son, Walter in this city, and with Mrs. Gillespie in Indianapolis, remaining with each one several months at a time.
For Twenty four years, however, she had considered Harrisburg her home and prior to the death of her husband, she lived in Brushy, where they married and reared their children. Three of whom survive, Walter, Mrs. Gillespie and John Boatright of St. Louis.
She was the daughter of Solomon Reed and was born in Tennessee. W.B. Reed of Carrier Mills and Janie Boatright are her Brother and Sister. She would have been Eighty-three years of age next month.
Her body will arrive in Harrisburg Thursday, accompanied by Indianapolis relatives and will be taken immediately to the Walter Boatright home, 715 South McKinley Avenue, where the funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Brushy Cemetery.
W.C. Kane, a Baptist Minister, will conduct the Funeral Service.
The Pall bearers are: Orval Ferrell, Charles Gustin, Thomas Smith, Archie Abney, Randall Reed & Charlie Boatright.
