Angie Johnson Brown, 81, of Evington, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born in Gladys on May 31, 1932 a daughter of the late Bernard Edwin Johnson and Janie Carwile Johnson. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William Ezra Brown; her children, Vickie B. Newman; William E. Brown, Jr. and wife, Diane; Valerie B. Hunter; Ten grandchildren and Ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Vivian J. Mays. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at The Well Church, 2450 Thomas Jefferson Rd. Forest, VA 24551. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at The Well Church, 2450 Thomas Jefferson Rd. Forest. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery.
