Mary Jo (Steele) Barker, Westbrooks, of Kinta, Oklahoma, was born October 14, 1929, in Kinta (Beaver township), to Carl Franklin and Myrtle Jewel (Reasnor) Steele and passed away January 6, 2014, in Quinton, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents; one older brother, Carlton Steele; her husband of 41 years, Aldred Barker, who she married in 1947; her 2nd husband of 5 years, Samuel J. Westbrooks, who she married in 1995; and one son, Robin Barker. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Mallory Chapel, Stigler. Burial will follow in Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory of Stigler.
