Charles Michael "C.M." Hayes, 74, of 6841 Bennett Rd., Seagrove, was called home to be with the Lord Monday, January 13, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 2 PM, Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Antioch Christian Church, Seagrove.
Officiating, Rev. Brian Faircloth, Rev. Gerald Ward, Rev. Darren Richardson.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Randolph County, C. M. was a member of Antioch Christian Church, retired from Ramtex after 44 years of service and sang in the gospel group called "The Gospel Strings".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Alma Coley Hayes, sister, Orene Stout, brothers, Henry Hayes, Floyd Hayes, and Ted Hayes.
Survivors: wife, Mary Ann B. Hayes, of the home, daughter, Ellen Wright, and husband, Ken, of Seagrove, sister, Ether Asbill, and husband, Wade, of Seagrove, brother, Lee Roy Hayes, and wife, Lois, of Rockingham, grandchildren, Cody Wright, Dylan Wright.
Visitation, 7 PM to 9 PM, Wednesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the home of the daughter, 5406 Picketts Mill Rd., Seagrove.
