Ralph Owens Bryant, age 79, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 15, 2014 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. A Celebration of Life, with Air Force military honors, for Ralph Bryant will be conducted on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from the Lafayette First Baptist Church with Dr. Doug Plumlee and Rev. Wert Campbell officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in the Fitzgerald Cemetery in Celina, TN.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
He is survived by: Wife, Ann Burnett Bryant; Daughters and sons-in-law, Pam and Bill May, Sonja and Tal Plumlee; Grandchildren, Bryant Plumlee, Morgan Plumlee, Garrett Plumlee, all of Lafayette; Sister, Brenda Roaden; Brother, Raymond Bryant, both of Somerset, KY.
The family requests memorials be made to the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. You may make those by coming by the Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette or Upton Funeral Home in Celina or on Saturday during the visitation time at the church.
