Wilma Wintersheimer, 100, of Chillicothe, died 7:36 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in Heartland of Chillicothe. She was born August 20, 1913, in Pike County, to the late Ernest C. and Rhoda Walls Herman. On June 15, 1940, she married Russell W. Wintersheimer who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, sons, a son-in-law, grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and sisters. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Kness; a beloved great grandson, Adam; five brothers; and a sister. Wilma was a member of the First Church of God and retired in 1978 from the US Shoe Corporation where she had worked for 30 years. Wilma loved nothing more than camping and fishing at Rocky Fork Lake with husband Russ, grandchildren, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Matthew Roe officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call at Ware's from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
