HOWARD FRANKLIN RAUGH
Howard Franklin Raugh, 69, of Lincoln, Nebr., died Thursday Jan. 24, at the Municipal hospital at Forest City, Iowa. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage following a car accident Wednesday, Jan. 23.
Mr. Raugh, who was born Mar. 22, 1978 at Alexandria, Pa., was an agent for associated manufacturers and his headquarters had been in Ames since 1942. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church at Lincoln, Nebr. In 1897 he was married to Jessie K. Bowen at Maxwell.
Mr. Raugh is survived by two sons, Robert W. Raugh, Norman, Okla., and Lawrence B. Raugh, of Chicago, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Truman Weller, Brynmur, Pa., and Mrs. Robert R. Duke, San Francisco, Calif.; three brothers, Dr. J. Martin Raugh, and Walter Raugh, Santa Ana, Calif., and Sam Raugh, Exeter, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Maud Miller, Santa Ana, Calif., Mrs. Edwin Martin and Mrs. Ella Miller, Glendale, Calif., and four grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death Nov. 14, 1944, at Ames.
Funeral services were held at the Adams chapel Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Walter Barlow of the Collegiate Presbyterian Church in charge. Burial was in the Nevada cemetery.
