Myrtle Bush Adams, 85, Cadiz, died at 9:15am Sunday at Brookfield Manor Personal Care Home, Hopkinsville, after a long illness.
Services will be at 11am Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home, with the Rev. Halqua Wilson officiating and burial in East End Cemetery.
Visitation was to begin at 4 today at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, she was born Aug. 22, 1905, daughter of the late Alonzo Carlton and Mary Charlotte Givens Bush. She previously worked for Krause's, Evansville, Ind., and also worked for Servel, Evansville, during World War II. She retired from Evansville-Vanderburg School Corp., Evansville, and was a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church. Her husband, Samuel "Sam" Newton Adams, died in 1989.
Survivors include seven brothers, Lexie Bush, Cadiz, Carloss Bush and Robert Bush, Trigg County, Travis Bush Frankfort, Cecil Bush, Cadiz, Kenneth Bush, Trigg County, and Charles Bush, Frankfort.
