Kentucky New Era obit posted 03/22/1976 reads as follows:

Services for Mrs. Eldora Chamberlin Aldridge, 57, Cadiz, will be at 2pm Tuesday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. John C. Brinson officiating and burial in East End Cemetery.

Mrs. Aldridge died at 8:15pm Saturday at Hopkins County Hospital, Madisonville. She had been in declining health for a number of years.

A native of Nicholas County, she was born Aug. 25, 1918, the daughter of Taylor and Eva Alice Dennis Chamberlin. She was a member of the Cadiz United Methodist Church and was a retired schoolteacher, having taught in the Trigg County schools.

Survivors include her husband, Burton R. Aldridge, Sr.; one daughter, Portia A. Ezell, Hopkinsville; one son, Burton R. Aldridge, Jr., of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Ardith Rowe and MRs. Mildred Sparks, bot of Orlando, Fla.; and Mrs. Naomi Whitmill, Anderson, Ind.; four brothers, Carl of Covington, William and Ray both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Marvin Chamberlin, Orlando; and four grandchildren.

The family requested that expressions of sympathy be the form of contributions to the John L. Street Library, Cadiz.
