Franklin News-Herald, Fir, May 28 1982:

Mrs. Margaret Mildred Osborne, 62, of Stoneboro RD 2, died early this morning in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Youngstown, after suffering a stroke two days ago. She was born Jan. 31, 1920, in Wesley, daughter of John and Abigail Lesnett.


She lived in Pine Township, Mercer County, Grove City RD 1, then in Sandy Lake Township the past 7 years. She was a licensed practical nurse and worked at Grove City Hospital and at private duty in homes. During World War II, she served with the Army Nurse Corps. She was a member of the Springfield United Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Auxiliary, the VFW Auxiliary in Grove City, and the Homemakers Club.


In 1945, she married John H. Atwell, who died in 1969. In 1973 she married David B. Osborne, who died in 1977.


Surviving are a son, Donald F. Atwell of Stoneboro RD 2; a sister, Mrs. Flora Gibson of Barkeyville; and three grandchildren. Deceased is a son, John Wayne Atwell who died at birth; and three brothers, John, Curtis, and Park Lesnett.


Services will be at 2 pm Sunday at Edward P. McMullen Funeral Home, Sandy Lake, with Rev. E. D. Johnson, retired pastor of Lakeview Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Irwin Cemetery. Irwin Township.
