Phyllis was born Dec. 31, 1929, the daughter of Leon and Nellie (Peffer) Quinn. She resided in the Hilton and Hamlin areas for several years. Phyllis met Ray Finn and several years later they were married. Together they owned and operated Finn's Grill in Springwater, the Bryant Hotel in Wayland and finally Finn's Hotel on Sodus Point. While running those businesses, they resided between Springwater and Sodus Point for many years and upon retirement they resided between Springwater and Florida.
Phyllis enjoyed reading, sewing and putting together puzzles. Throughout her life, Phyllis met many good friends as she was a social butterfly and no matter where she went she always knew someone. She enjoyed and treasured her many friends.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Nellie Quinn; her husband, Raymond Finn; brothers, George, Leon Jr., and Gary Quinn; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Larry Valentine.
