Mr. High had been a member of the Church of Christ 45 years and had been a regular attendant at the local church during the six years he resided in Stamford.
Surviving: three sisters - Mrs. Deni Bagwell of Lipan, Mrs. Alec Byrd of Rio Vista; Mrs. Belle Waters of Moran; son - Harvey High of Ft. Worth; one daughter - Mrs. M.T. Morgan of Bartlett.
He was the father of the late J. Griffin High of Stamford.
