Eva M Thacker, age 78, of Hendersonville, died March 29, 2005, at Mariner Health Care of Nashville. She was born in Sumner County on September 15, 1926, to the late Carl and Lillie Mathias. She is survived by daughter, Barbara (Michael) Monk of Prattville, Ala.; sons, Clifford (Sherry) Thacker of Jamestown, Tenn., Harris (Judy) Thacker of Seminole, Okla., Paul (Dorothy) Thacker of Bethpage, Tenn., Royce (Cheryl) Thacker of Gallatin, Tenn.; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, J.T. (Dellar) Mathias of Portland, James Donald Mathias of Union City, Tenn., Riley (Violet) Mathias of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; sisters, Viola Hinton of Portland, Mary Hirlson of Murfreesboro, Tenn. Visitation will as follows: 6 p.m., until 9 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2005, and 10 a.m., until 12 p.m., 2 p.m., until 4 p.m., and 6 p.m., until 9 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2005. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2005, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Martindale. Interment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Harry Summers, Gary Mathias, Kenneth Mathias, Steve Mathias, Carl Hirlston, Danny Mathias, and Mark Mathias. Mrs. Thacker's nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to The Women's Missionary Society of Madison General Baptist Church.
