Eugene J. Bernthal passes suddenly Wednesday evening Funeral services took place Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church for Eugene J. Bernthal, 66, who passed away suddenly last Wednesday evening at his
home. The Rev. Charles Chaveriat officiated at the last rites with burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Mr Bernthal was born April 12, 1898 in Frankenmuth. He married Emma Conzclmann in 1924. Mr Berntiial was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves one son, Robert Bernthal of New Jersey; two grandchildren; one brother and four sisters, Dr. A. Bernthal of Richville, Mrs Alfred Schumacher and Mrs Ralph Stroebel of Saginaw, the Misses Hulcla and Lillian Berntha! of Fnmkenmuth.
