Obituary
Mrs. Julia A. Gaither, 68, of Damascus, died Saturday, Aug. 3, at her home. She was the wife of the late Preston B. Gaither.

Born Sep. 8, 1922, in Philadelphia, Pa., she was a daughter of the late John and Ethel Robinson Anderson.

Mrs. Gaither was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Damascus, where she had been the pianist for 30 years before her illness.

Surviving are one daughter, Marilyn M. Jones of Baltimore; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Nobel Richardson of Philadelphia; and a number of nieces and nephews in the Philadelphia area.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Friendship United Methodist Church in Damascus, with the Rev. Walter G. Edmonds officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
